On 26th May Morgan Hunt in conjunction with KPMG held the conference “HR in financial institutions: playing by new rules”. The event took place at the KPMG Moscow office.
This is the first conferences in a series of HR industrial conferences ran by Morgan Hunt in 2009.
HR Directors from major Western and Russian banks, investment and insurance companies got together to discuss the questions of HR management in financial institutions and to share the best practices.
Vasily Chekulaev, Deputy Country Executive Global Transaction Services. Corporate Director, The Royal Bank of Scotland, presented non-HR view on HR-related topics and made an overview of the market in his presentation “Shift in corporate banking needs: back to basic”.
Natalya Voevodina, HR Director, Financial Corporation Otkritie, spoke on “HR objectives in the times of business growth”, and Tatiana Kolomeets, Vice-President, Head of HR, Dresdner Kleinwort, spoke on “360 as an effective assessment tool for bank personnel in new economic conditions”.
Yulia Khivantseva, HR Director, Svenska Handelsbanken, discussed “Alighing Business and HR Strategies”, Alexander Lazarev, Vice President, Director of Group Management Division, AIG Life Insurance Company, spoke on “Employee Benefits in the financial sector – current status and optimization opportunities”.
Alevtina Borisova, Partner, KPMG closed the conference with her presentation on “Legal, Tax and Human Capital implications of compensation restructuring”
